Inspired is a sales contact centre, and the role you applied for was an outbound sales agent role. On behalf of Inspired, I would like to address some of your concerns and criticisms. A more senior manager just sat playing Fifa all day against other managers and some - more. Some will help, some will provide a dirty look when you ask. For example, if your target is 20 sales for the week and you get 19 you will get NO commission for that week. You have to hit specific weekly targets which can sometimes be unrealistic. Ringing people out of the blue means they genuinely think this is a scam therefore no success = no sales = no commission.Ĭommission is uncapped which is a bonus but is very difficult to get. You ask them a range of questions to find out information, sometimes these questions make people hang up. If you don’t get sales you’re stuck on core data which means you essentially cold call EE customers and try and find a need for them having an additional product (phone/tablet/broadband/smart watch etc). people who have been looking at a specific product online) and therefore more likely to get a sale, life is easier. ![]() If you are good then you’ll get better data (i.e. The job: the data you receive depends on how successful you have been in getting sales. Phones in 'managers' desk, told off for toilet breaks and verbally aggressive at times. However, the second week we were placed under management & training of someone else and it all went downhill from there, Extremely poor management style, no man-management and would put people down (even if it was 'banter') - felt like we were back in school to be honest. They said they would coach the salesman out of you if you put the effort in yourself and in fairness the lady who commenced our training was very friendly and looked to understand peoples needs, which was thoroughly enjoyable. I was placed in the EE campaign which involved cold calling existing customers attempting to sell additional products. Started working at Inspired Outsourcing 3 weeks ago and undergone training with no previous sales experience. I only lasted 3 weeks working here however thought I'd give an honest review anyway. ![]()
